Premio Foods Recipe Contest


Premio Foods is looking for some new and innovative recipes, just in time for Labor Day Weekend!  Contestants are asked to create and submit an original and not previously used recipe using at least one of Premio’s products.  Contestants will include which Premio product(s) they have used in addition to other ingredients and their measurements, the process of executing the recipe and a picture of their final dish with a creative name.  Our Executive Premio Chef will then review each dish and decide on a top five based on taste and creativity.  After the top five have been announced, users will then be able to vote for their favorite dish on Premio’s website and Facebook page via the contest application.  Prizes will be awarded to the two dishes with the most votes at the end of the voting period.  First place will receive ____________.  Second place will receive ______________. 

NOTE: All participants who qualify by submitting an original recipe with a name, photo, ingredients list with measurements and preparation and cooking steps will receive a free coupon regardless.

Contestants must include the following in their recipe:
• A unique and creative name
• The use of at least one Premio product
• A photo of the finished product
• Other ingredients and their measurements
• Preparation and step-by-step cooking instructions

Contest Information:
• Contestants must submit an original recipe, using at least one Premio product.  The recipe must be an original; it cannot be previously submitted, published, won another contest or been used for advertising or promotional purposes
• Contestants can enter multiple recipes but each recipe must be submitted as a separate entry
• Those contestants who upload an original recipe with all the necessary information will be added to Premio’s recipes on their website, in addition to possibly being uploading to Premio’s Pinterest Page, regardless of their outcome in the contest

Eligibility:
• Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) states and the District of Columbia
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry
• Employees of Sponsor, its agents, affiliates, subsidiary and parent companies, sales representatives, distributors, wholesalers, licensees, advertising and promotion agencies and members of the immediate families or households of each such employee are not eligible to enter or win.

Schedule and Times:
• Contestant submissions begin on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 12:00:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Contestant submissions end on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Live voting for the top 5 recipes begins on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 12:00:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Live voting ends on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• The first place and second place winners will be announced on Saturday, August 11, 2012.
 
Note: Users may vote for their favorite recipe multiple times but are limited to voting for them only once per day.

Rules and Regulations:
• Void outside the 50 United States and where prohibited
• At the time of entry, contestant must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a legal resident of, and located within, one of the 50 United States or District of Columbia
• Have Internet access and the ability to upload photos
• Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administrated or associated with Facebook
• No inclusion of any other product’s brands, labels or trademarks except for the Premio Foods brand
• Only entries submitted via Premio Foods’ website or Facebook page will be accepted (Application)
• Entries that are submitted via any other method, including but not limited to email, U.S. Postal Service and other delivery services will NOT be accepted
• Entries must be submitted by no later than Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST)|
• Any entries submitted after will NOT be accepted
• Limit one entry per day per contestant

Photos
• Must be submitted in one of the following formats:
• .jpg
• .png
• .gif
• Must be no larger than _____ MB or ___x___

Entries cannot:
• Infringe upon any third party’s rights, including, but not limited to, patents, trademarks, copyrights or rights of publicity or privacy
• Contain any information or material that may be considered slanderous, libelous, defamatory
• Contain material that portrays or depicts a person, product or entity in a negative way or false light
• Contain be submitted with any viruses, bugs or any other hazardous material
• Contain any inappropriate material, including but not limited to, profanity, offensive words, symbols, or sayings to certain races, religions, sexual orientations, ethnicities or other groups, threats to a person, business or groups and defamatory or false statements 

Sponsor
• Is not responsible for any entries that are incomplete, inaccurate or uploading difficulties caused by the Internet or by the programming associated with the contest
• Is not responsible for any human error
• Is not responsible for any computer, phone line, hardware, software or programming problems, or problems, delays, failures and other errors with the computer transmissions or network connections
• All entries, after submission, become the property of the sponsor
• By submitting an entry:
• Contestant agrees that his/her submission is gratuitous and made without any restrictions
• Contestant will not place the sponsor under any obligation
• Sponsor is allowed and free to disclosure the ideas that were submitted in the photo on a non-confidential basis to anyone
• Sponsor is allowed and free to use the ideas without any additional form of compensation to the contestant
• Contestant acknowledges that the sponsor does not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas that were previously known by the sponsor, developed by sponsor or its employees or obtained from any source beside the contestant
• Sponsor has no obligation to use or post any contestants entry
• Reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prizes become unavailable for any reason

Judging and Winner Selection
• A top five will be selected by Premio Foods’ Executive Chef
• Based on taste and creativity
• Chef’s decisions are final
• User/fans will vote for their favorite of the remaining five via Premio Foods’ website and Facebook page (via the application)
• The two recipes/dishes with the highest number of votes, after the voting period has ended, will be declared first and second place
• In the event of a tie, we will open the voting for an additional 24 hour period to allow the fans to break the tie.  

Winners
• By accepting each prize, the two winners agree that their photo will be deemed a Work Made For Hire, under the Copyright Laws of the United States
• Assign and transfers all the rights of their photo/recipe to the sponsor, including but not limited to, copyrights and trademarks. 
• May be featured on Premio Food’s website, in addition to social media sites, including but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.  
• Acknowledge that the sponsor has no further obligation than to award them the advertised prizes 
• Must claim the prize within seven (7) days of notification of winning 
• Any prizes that are unclaimed prizes will not be rewarded after seven (7) days

Privacy Policy
• Contestant agrees that he/she is providing their information to only the sponsor, not Facebook.  Please see the sponsor’s privacy policy at ../UI/StaticPage.aspx?sn=Privacy%20Policy for details regarding personal information collected in connection with this contest.  The terms of this privacy policy are incorporated into, and therefore considered part, of the official rules

• Post statuses on Facebook thanking everyone who entered and voted
• Thank-you “tweets” for everyone who participated and voted 
• Possible news release(s) about contest (its success, etc.)
• Include fact sheet about Premio Foods
• Give out prizes to first and second place
• Send out coupons to all those who participated and followed the rules of contest
• Upload recipes to Premio’s recipe section of the website
• Upload recipe pictures to Premio’s Pinterest page along with:
• Name of recipe
• In description, a link to the Premio product that was used
• Link picture so that when users click on it, it takes them to the recipe on Premio’s website
• Create album on Facebook to upload all user submitted recipes pictures with name and brief description
