    Gustoso Italian Pot Pie


     

    Ingredients:

    • 1 Package - Crescent Roll Dough
    • Flour for dusting
    • 1 Cup - Green Bell Peppers
    • 1 Cup - Onions chopped
    • 1 Cup - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
    • 1 LB - Premio Italian Sausage
    • 1 - Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
    • 1 - Pasta Sauce
    • Dried Italian Seasoning
    • Salt and Pepper to taste

    How to make Gustoso Italian Pot Pie :

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Filling:
    Cook Green Bell Pepper and Onions in non-stick skillet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray until soft. Add Italian Premio Sausage, Mixed Vegetables, Italian Seasoning, salt and pepper. Cook until meat is browned and vegetables are soft. Drain thoroughly. Add Pasta Sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pie Assembly:
    Lightly wad crescent rolls into a ball. Roll out 4 balls on lightly floured surface. Refrigerate remaining 4 balls. Line individual pie pans with rolled out dough. Pierce dough with fork to prevent rising. Cook in oven about 10 - 12 minutes or until light brown. Remove from oven and fill with filling (Recipe follows). Dust remaining dough rolls with a pinch of salt and Italian seasoning. Roll out remaining dough and cover pies sealing tightly. Return to oven and cook until biscuits are browned about 15 to 18 minutes.
