    Kathy's Kicked Up Sausage Peppers & Onions



    • 1 Package of Premio Sweet Italian Sausage (or any favorite Premio Sausage Flavor) cut into 1 inch pieces
    • 2 large Onions cut into 1/2 inch wedges
    • 2 Large Peppers cut in half and then in 1/2 strips
    • 1 1/2 (16 oz) jars of Chi-Chi's Mild Salsa
    • 1 Bag Light & Fluffy Medium Egg Noodles
    • Grated Parmesan cheese
    • Olive Oil Pam

    How to make Kathy's Kicked Up Sausage Peppers & Onions:

    Fill large pot with water and heat on medium for cooking noodles. Spray large skillet pan generously with Olive Oil Pam and add Premio Sweet/Mild Italian Sausage, peppers & onions. Spray more Olive Oil Pam over the sausage peppers & onions. Cover & cook over medium heat, stirring occssionally until sausage is just about done. (about 15 minutes). Remove cover, continue to cook another 5 minutes uncovered. Reduce heat to low, and add the salsa and stirring so that the sausage peppers & onions and salsa are all mixed together well. Simmer and stirring as needed until your noodles are ready. Add your noodles to your pot of water which should now be boiling. Cook until tender. Serve sausage peppers & onions over a small bed of noodles and top with some grated parmasean cheese.

    Serves 4-6 people.
