    Premio Easy Sausage, Mussels and Clams


     

    Ingredients:

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 pound Premio Hot and Spicy Chicken Sausage, casings removed, sausages coarsely crumbled
    • 4 garlic cloves smashed
    • 1 cup white wine
    • 2 dozen  clams (about 2 1/3 pounds), scrubbed
    • 2 lbs. Mussels, scrubbed
    • 2 Tbsp. Chopped Dill
    • 1 lemon sliced into wedges

    How to make Premio Easy Sausage, Mussels and Clams:

    Heat oil in large deep skillet over high heat. Add sausage to the pan crumbling coarsely as cooking. Saute until sausage is brown, about 10 minutes. Add in garlic, cook additional 2-3 minutes. Add wine, clams & mussels Cover. Cook just until all clams and mussels are open, about 5-8 minutes. Season to taste with pepper. Sprinkle in chopped dill. Divide among 4 bowls, discarding any unopened clams. Garnish each with a lemon slice and serve with some crusty Italian bread. Enjoy.
