    Premio Grilled Cheese


     

    Ingredients:

     

    • 1 package Premio Sweet Italian Sausage links
    • 8 slices of crusty Italian bread
    • 16 slices sharp cheddar cheese
    • 1 large tomato, sliced
    • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
    • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 TBSP. spicy brown mustard
    • 1/4 TSP. Worcestershire sauce 

     

    How to make Premio Grilled Cheese:

     

    1. Cook sausage according to package directions. Slice each sausage on the bias into 1/2 slices.
    2. Butter bread. Assemble each panini beginning with the bottom of the Ciabatta roll, 1 slice cheddar cheese, slice of tomato, three pieces sliced sausage, handful of spinach, 1 slice cheddar cheese and top of Ciabatta roll.
    3. Heat Panini in Panini press, sandwich press, grill pan or skillet. Place Panini on hot surface, apply pressure for 5 minutes or as maker directs (if using grill pan or skillet, turn after 3-4 minutes and apply pressure to the other side for an additional 3 minutes).
    4. To make sauce combine mayonnaise, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
    5. Dip Panini in sauce or spread on sandwich.
