    Saucy Chicken Balls


     

    Ingredients:

    • 1 lb. Premio Mild Italian Sausage
    • 2 lbs. boneless chicken wings
    • 1 lb. small mozzarella
    • 1 sweet red pepper
    • 8-oz. marinara sauce
    • Arella balls
    • Salt & pepper

    How to Make Saucy Chicken Balls:

    1. Remove casings from Premio sausage and separate into 16 separate piles.  Roll into small balls.
    2. Insert mozzarella balls into each sausage ball. 
    3. Clean and devein dressed red pepper; slice into 16 pieces.  Insert 1 slice of red pepper into boneless chicken wings; insert into sausage-mozzarella balls. 
    4. Place balls on a cookie sheet and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
    5. Bake in a 350 degree (F) oven for 35 minutes.
    6. In separate pan, warm marinara sauce.
    7. Remove balls from oven and serve with marinara dipping sauce.  Enjoy!
