    Sloppy Premio


     

    Ingredients:

    • 1 lb. Premio Italian Sausage (I use Hot)
    • 1 small onion, chopped
    • 1 can (8-oz.) tomato sauce
    • ¼ cup ketchup
    • ¼ cup BBQ sauce (I use cajohns Applewood smoked bourbon BBQ)
    • 1 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
    • 1 tsp. dry mustard
    • Salt & pepper, to taste
    • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
    • Italian rolls

    How to Make Sloppy Premio:

    1. Remove casings from sausage.  In a large skillet, place sausage and onion, and cook until sausage is browned; drain.
    2. In a large pot, combine all ingredients and simmer for about 25 minutes.
    3. Remove from pot and serve on Italian rolls.  Enjoy!
