Taco with a Twist

30 Minutes or Less

Ingredients:

1 package Premio Premio’s Sweet Italian Sausage or Premio Mild Italian Sausage
2 packages frozen, chopped spinach, thawed
Garlic powder Salt and pepper, to taste
1 small can sliced olives
1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
8 flour tortillas

  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Taco with a Twist:

1. Remove casings from Premio Sausage. Place into sauté pan and sauté until cooked. Drain fat.

2. In a separate pan, cook spinach; drain, squeezing out any excess water.

3. Mix sausage, spinach, garlic powder, salt and pepper together. Divide evenly and place into tortilla wraps. Top with olives and cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
