Ingredients:
1 package Premio Hot Italian Sausage
3 cups chicken broth
2 crushed cloves garlic
1 bay leaf
1 cup dried lentils
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
2 large carrots, chopped
2 stalks of celery, chopped
- Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
- Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.
How to make Slow Cooker Spicy Sausage and Lentil Soup:
1. Place all ingredients into a crock-pot and cook on low heat for up to 8 hours.
2. Remove the bay leaf and break up the Premio Sausage before serving.
