Ingredients:
- Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
- Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.
How to make Burrata & Premio Sausage Salad:
1. Remove casings from Premio sausage. In a medium-sized skillet, over medium heat, cook sausage, breaking into small pieces, until browned and slightly crispy. Set sausage aside and reserve oil in skillet
2. Sauté garlic and shallot over medium-low heat with reserved oil, until softened. Turn off heat and add 1 tablespoon of orange zest, apple slices, ½ cup fresh orange juice and red wine vinegar, while seasoning with salt and pepper.
3. Toss lettuce with a drizzle of dressing and transfer to a large plate. Break up Burrata and place on lettuce. Add a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle with red pepper flakes and sea salt while garnishing with parsley. Enjoy!
