Ingredients:
1 package Premio Premio’s Sweet Italian Sausage, chopped
2 slices of pineapple, finely chopped
1/2 cup of diced chedder cheese
About 20 round-shaped wonton wraps
Salt and pepper, to taste
- Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
- Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.
How to make Hawaiian Sausage Cups:
1. Cook Premio Sausage according to package instructions, until done; chop into small pieces.
2. Place each wonton wrap in a muffin cup; mould to make a cup shape.
3. Bake at 400 degrees (F) for about 5 – 8 minutes until crispy (be sure not to burn).
4. Mix together all of the remaining ingredients. Add about 1-2 tablespoons of this mixture to each wonton cup. Arrange cups on a baking tray and bake at 400 degrees (F) until cheese melts.
