Sweet N’ Spicy Sausage Masala

Ingredients:

16 ounces Premio Sweet Italian Sausage Meat
1 green pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons margarine
1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
2 chopped onions
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/4 cup corn kernels(cooked)
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cilantro (chopped fine)
Salt to taste

  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Sweet N' Spicy Sausage Masala:

1. Saute’ ginger garlic paste in margarine. Add the chopped onions to it. Add the corn kernels and saute for 2 minutes.  Add green peppers.

2. In another pan, caramalise sugar. Add the Premio Sausage meat and break into small pieces; cover and cook till brown.

3. Add the caramalised sausage pieces to the sauted items. Add tomato sauce and check for salt.  Garnish with grated cheese and cilantro leaves. Serve hot.
