Italian Sausage and Veggie Kebabs

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Sweet Italian Sausage links, quartered (or hot if you’re feeling spicy!)
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large zucchini, cut into 1 inch chunks
  • Handful of cherry tomatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Italian Sausage and Veggie Kebabs:

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for a few hours.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-low.
  3. Toss veggies in a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper.
  4. Skewer sausage and veggies in alternating patterns.
  5. Once grill is ready, cook skewers for about 25 minutes, or until sausage is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil and serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping!
