Broccoli Rabe and Sausage

Ingredients:

1 pound Premio Hot Italian Sausage
2 pounds Italian broccoli rabe
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
5 (6-inch) hoagie rolls
Crushed red pepper
Salt
6 tablespoons olive oil

  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Broccoli Rabe and Sausage:

1. Place Premio Sausage and broccoli (only florets and leaves) on grill and grill until done (grill sausage according to package instructions).

2. In a large frying pan, add about 6 tablespoons of olive oil and garlic; sauté until slightly brown. Add grilled broccoli to pan and cover on medium heat until wilted. Uncover and stir; add sausage and bring up to temperature.

3. Add salt and red pepper, according to your preferred taste. Serve in hoagie rolls and enjoy.
