Premio Cajun Sausage and Penne Pasta

Ingredients:

1 pound Premio Sausage (choose your favorite), chopped into 1-inch pieces
1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced
1 small sweet onion, sliced
1 to 2 tablespoons Sriracha garlic chile sauce
1 cup chicken stock
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
12 ounces cooked and drained Penne pasta

  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Premio Cajun Sausage and Penne Pasta:

1. Heat a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add the Olive Oil and Premio Sausage, and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add onions and peppers, and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

2. Add chicken stock, butter and Sriracha sauce; stir well. Add pasta and mix well. Serve in large pasta bowls and top with generous amount of Parmesan cheese.
