Ingredients:
1 package Premio Sausage, casings removed
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups half-and-half
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic salt
- Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
- Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.
How to make Premio Gravy:
1. Remove Premio Sausage from casing. In a large skillet, combine sausage, bacon and garlic. Cook over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes or until sausage is browned and crumbly.
2. Stir in flour and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Gradually add half-and-half while stirring constantly. Add pepper and salt; cook for 3-4 minutes or until gravy is thickened. Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
3. Serve and enjoy!
