Ingredients:
1 (16 oz.) package Premio Sausage (choose your favorite), cooked and sliced in half and into 2-inch chunks
1 Egg, beaten
- Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
- Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.
How to make Premio Poppers:
1. Thaw the puff pastry and fold out. Cut down the two creases for 3 sheets of dough.
2. Cut each sheet into 3 pieces and roll sausage in between pastry, placing seem down. Use an egg wash to coat.
3. Bake at 400 degrees (F) for 15 minutes until brown; then turn for another 10 minutes. Serve with dips of grain mustard, honey mustard or marinara sauce.
