Ingredients:
1 package Premio Sausage (choose your favorite)
1 yellow pepper
1 orange pepper
Garlic
Salt
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 stick butter
Olive oil
1 pound spaghetti
- Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
- Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.
How to make Premio Sausage and Spaghetti:
1. In a frying pan, cook peppers in olive oil until almost soft. Remove from pan.
2. Remove casings from Premio Sausage and add to pan with oil. Cook until sausages are browned. Add peppers back into pan with sausage and cook for a few additional minutes.
3. Boil water and cook spaghetti according to package directions.
4. In a separate saucepan, melt stick of butter with garlic and 1/2 cup olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.
5. Once spaghetti is cooked, add to a large bowl and cover lightly with olive oil. Put sausage and peppers into butter, then toss in with spaghetti. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve!
