Spaghetti ala Pagna

Ingredients:

3 links of Premio Sausage (choose your favorite)
1 package spaghetti
1 tablespoon oil
1 spring of thyme
2 eggs
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 chicken cube
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
1 spring of parsley
1 garlic

  • Always cook pork sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F using a meat thermometer.
  • Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165° F using a meat thermometer.

How to make Spaghetti ala Pagna:

1. In a pot, add water and boil. Add spaghetti to the pot and cook according to package directions; drain.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, add oil. Remove casings from Premio Sausage and add to the skillet; fry until golden. Add tomato paste, chicken cube, parsley, chopped onion, garlic, spring of thyme and 6 ounces water; stir.

3. Let everything simmer, then add in spaghetti; toss well. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.

4. In a separate pot, boil the eggs. Once they cook, chop and add to the top of spaghetti.
